this bandana was dyed with an exhaust bath of marigold flowers followed by an iron (rust) bath, and printed with a simple goldenrod pattern. the fabric color is a light greenish tan (might be called straw). for ritual adornment in connection with plants & the earth’s cycles.

washing instructions to best preserve plant-based color:

• hand wash or machine wash cold with sulfate-free detergent

• hang to dry or dry on gentle, low heat. some mild fading will occur with the initial wash, with less fading occurring in subsequent washes.

• natural dyes are UV-sensitive — dry and store napkins indoors and out of direct sunlight.
